Le Monplaisir is ideally located in the heart of the Alpilles National Park. A sector rich in history.

-A Saint-Rémy de Provence, you will find the Roman city of Glanum to visit absolutely. On site, a gourmet corner with its Roman gastronomy not to be missed!

-This place of light has inspired many painter such as Paul Gauguin and Vincent Van Gogh. The latter lived in Saint-Rémy de Provence, and you can follow in his footsteps thanks to a pedestrian route to the hospital where he lived.

-A 10km, Les Baux de Provence, a village perched on its rock with a view, another must-see in the Alpilles. Listed as the most beautiful villages in France, you will stroll through the pedestrian streets before going up to the storm of its castle hewn in the stone. -At 20km away, Avignon is full of points of interest with its tourist hotspot, the Avignon Bridge and the Palais des Papes. In July, the famous Avignon Theater Festival is a must.

-At 25km, Arles is a Roman city with countless Greco-Roman remains. Trace the fascinating history of this city by visiting the cryptoporticos under Arles Town Hall, the Arles Antique Museum, Les Arènes, the Ancient Theater, and many more. The traditions of Arles and the election of its queen in traditional Arles costume are the bases of the Provençal culture of the Arles region, ranging from Saint-Rémy de Provence to Saintes-Maries de la mer.

-A 60km away, the Saintes-Maries de la mer in the middle of the Camargue offers you a unique landscape in France of wild lands with its horses, bulls, migratory birds, a very special fauna and flora to discover on horseback, on foot or even by barge along the Rhône.

-At 30km, the Pont du Gard is a spectacular Roman aqueduct supplying Nîmes with drinking water. Roman engineering at its peak. To discover by canoe or on foot. On another note, take the opportunity to visit the Haribo factory near the Pont du Gard. It's for young and old!

-A 60km away, Bedoin is the starting point for the ascent of Mont Ventoux by bike. You can reach its mythical summit by bike or by car for an incredible panorama from the Mediterranean Sea to the Alps.

-A 50km, the quarries of Roussillon and its ocher colors. Very colorful memories for those who love photography. -40km away, Gordes, Sénanque abbey and Vaucluse fountain are essential places at the foot of the Luberon massif. Between cultivation, lavender fields and swimming in fresh water, plan a beautiful day of discovery.

“We spent 2 weeks in the campsite with a tent site, very spacious and very well equipped. This campsite is great, you will find a very family atmosphere there, the Daniel family and their staff are simply adorable !! The other big highlight is the cleanliness of the premises, exceptionally clean sanitary facilities, soap, toilet paper, everything is impeccable !!!! The pool area is also very pleasant and the time range perfect, the garden part is a very good idea! The restaurant is excellent with a beautiful menu Top service !!!! Access to the village is very significant and the surroundings very rich in visits ..... In short, a perfect place for a quiet holiday under the sun and Le chant des Cigales. I recommend this place without moderation !!!! ”

 Nous avons passés 2 semaines dans le camping avec un emplacement tente, très spacieux et très bien aménagé. Ce camping est extra, vous y trouverez une ambiance très familiale, la famille Daniel et son personnel sont tout simplement adorables!!
L’autre gros point fort c’est la propreté des lieux, sanitaires exceptionnellement propres, du savon, papier toilette, tout est impeccable !!!!
L’espace piscine est aussi très agréable et l’amplitude horaire parfaite, la partie jardin est une très bonne idée !
Le restaurant est excellent avec une belle carte un service Au top !!!!
L’accès au village est très appréciable et les environs très riches en visites.....
Bref un endroit parfait pour des vacances au calme sous le soleil et Le chant des Cigales.
Je recommande cet endroit sans modération !!!!
